Saudi Arabian Food And Drug Administration (SFDA) recently banned the use of 8 brands of Shampoo

The Saudi Arabian Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) recently banned the use of 8 brands of shampoo and ordered them withdrawn from markets in the country, as they contained Dioxane, cancer-causing compound.
The banned shampoo were as follows:• Corpore Sano Baby Shampoo from Distribution de Productos Naturales, Spain;
• Black Seed 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner by Be-Tabs Pharmaceuticals (Pty) Ltd, South Africa;
• Double Rich Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for Greasy Hair, manufactured by LG Household and Health Care Ltd, South Korea;
• Himalaya Herbs Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for normal hair, sold by Himalaya Drug Company, India;
• I-Care fortifying 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner produced in Vietnam;
• Mud Shampoo with Dead Sea Extract for dry and damaged hair, produced by Natural Care, Jordan;
• Two types of Sehat Cedr Shampoo produced by Shampoo Cedr Sahat Company, Iran.
NAFDAC therefore alerts the general public to beware of these harmful cosmetic products and report any suspected case of illegal importation, Distribution and sale to the nearest NAFDAC Office for appropriate action
