12th Annual Nafdac Consumer Safety Club Secondary Schools’ Competition

ELIGIBILITY

This year’s competition is open to all interested  schools irrespective of the affiliation with NAFDAC Consumer Safety Club programme.

The examination is limited to 2 participants per school (One JSS & One SSS) and a maximum of 50 schools per state on first come first serve basis. The schools that are already participating in the NAFDAC Consumer Safety Club programme in each state of the federation have automatic entries and are inclusive of the 50 schools per State.

FIRST STAGE

DATE: 2nd October – 30th October, 2015

Submission of names of selected candidates by interested schools to NAFDAC State offices Nationwide. 

 

SECOND STAGE

DATE: Saturday 28th November, 2015

Nationwide conduct of State level examination for JSS & SSS Categories: 11:00am

FINAL STAGE

DATE: First/Second Quarter, 2016

  • Best 3 students at the JSS & SSS categories from each geopolitical zone of the country to sit for examination in Abuja to select national winners.
  • Excursion for participants

NATIONAL AWARD CEREMONY & LUNCHEON

DATE:  First/Second Quarter (Tentative)

National Award Ceremony at Shehu Musa Yar-adua conference center

             

PRIZES

Prizes to be awarded to zonal and national winners, their schools and coordinators

 

Additional Information:

  • School coordinators are to obtain information from NAFDAC State coordinators on venue for the State level examination.
  • School coordinators are to ensure that names of selected representatives attending the 2015 examination are forwarded to NAFDAC State office and NOT directly to the NCSC Coordinating office in Abuja.
