Public Alert No.0048/2021 Food Recall Warning – Amara Brand Organic Smoothie Melts – Carrot Raspberry Recalled Due To Plastic Pieces

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has been informed by Canada’s Food and Drugs Act and Regulations that Pata-Foods Inc. Dba Amara, Ottawa, Canada, on 31st October, 2021, recalled its Organic Smoothie Melt Carrot Raspberry due to contamination, the product, which contain pieces of plastic has been linked to health problems such as metabolic disorders, obesity and reduced fertility.

RECOMMENDATIONS
